●外から見つけてもらう導線を強化した7月
7月は発信活動とサイトの制作履歴をより可視化した月でした。
以前からサイト制作の積み重ねを「開発室」(デブログ)で公開していたのですが、もっとコンスタントに活動を知ってもらいたいと考えました。
1か月の活動をまとめて報告するのではなく、1日おきや数日おきなど、短いスパンで無理なく継続できる日報のようなシステムを作りたいと考えました。そこで誕生したのが、「モルキのメモカード」です。日々の活動を単語帳のようにめくって見られるコンテンツです。学生時代に使っていた単語帳のように裏面は英文になっています。
最初はデイリーカレンダーなど別の案もありましたが、メモカードのようにめくれた方がインタラクティブで面白いと思いました。他のサイトでこのような日めくりメモはなかなかないので、けっこうオリジナリティーがあると思っています(笑)
私のサイトは遊園地にしたいので、奇抜なシステムや奇想天外なものを作りたいと思います😆👍
奇抜と言えば、7月は「ダンシングGIFホール」を公開しました。このコンテンツを作ったきっかけはYouTube動画で使ったGIF素材を自分のサイトで公開したら面白いんじゃないかと思ったためです。せっかく作ったコンテンツを複数の場所で公開すればそれだけ人の目に触れる機会も増えます。動画で使って終わりではなく、GIFコンテンツを活かすことにしました。
しかしただGIFを並べるだけだと驚きが少ないと思いました。GIFは動きますので、動くと言えば「ダンス」ということで、「GIFが踊るダンスフロア」というコンセプトで作りました。そしてGIF画像たちは本当にダンスフロアまで移動して「踊ります」(笑) 😆

● Strengthening Pathways for People to Discover FUKABORI COLORS
July was a month when I focused on making my activities and the development process of the site more visible.
I had already been sharing the accumulated development work on the site through the “Development Room” (Devlog), but I wanted to make it easier for people to regularly discover what I was working on.
Rather than reporting everything I had done over an entire month at once, I wanted to create a daily-update-style system that I could continue without putting too much pressure on myself, with short updates every day or two or every few days.
That is how “Molki's Memo Cards” came to life.
It is a piece of content where you can flip through my daily activities like vocabulary cards. Just like the vocabulary cards I used when I was a student, the back of each card is written in English.
At first, I considered other ideas, such as a daily calendar. But I thought it would be more interactive and interesting if visitors could flip through the cards like memo cards.
You don't see this kind of daily memo system very often on other websites, so I think it has quite a bit of originality. (Haha.)
I want my site to feel like an amusement park, so I want to create unusual systems and all kinds of unexpected things. 😆👍
Speaking of unusual things, I launched “Dancing GIF Hall” in July.
I came up with the idea because I thought it would be fun to publish the GIF materials I had used in my YouTube videos on my own website as well.
If I publish the content I've created in multiple places, it gives that content more opportunities to be seen. Rather than simply using the GIFs in a video and being done with them, I decided to make better use of the GIF content.
However, I thought that simply lining up the GIFs wouldn't be surprising enough.
GIFs move, so when I thought about things that move, I thought of dancing. That led to the concept of “a dance floor where GIFs dance.”
And the GIF images actually move onto the dance floor and “dance”! (Haha.) 😆
