I decided to make this video because I thought that the process of choosing a thumbnail and using A/B testing could actually make an interesting video topic in itself.

I think there are many people who struggle with choosing the right thumbnail, so I thought I might be able to create a video that people would actually search for.

In this video, I show three thumbnails suggested by Gemini AI within YouTube and explain how they differ from the thumbnail ideas I came up with myself.

The impression of a video can change quite a lot depending on which part of the video you choose to use for the thumbnail, so I hope this will be helpful when you're choosing thumbnails for your own videos.

I believe thumbnails can actually affect the click-through rate (CTR), so they are very important.

I'm still experimenting and trying to figure out what kind of thumbnails can improve CTR, but I hope to gradually learn what works by continuing to publish videos and test different ideas.

For this video, I decided to make a serious, straightforward explanation video without the little jokes I usually add here and there. For people who are seriously looking for information, jokes could potentially become a distraction. 😅

I'd like to adjust the tone depending on the type of video.
